THE HISTORY AND THE GOALS OF THE
“SAN JOSE FEINANDEMETZ, SVD – FU SHEN FU” FOUNDATION
The “San Jose Freinademetz, SVD – FU SHEN FU” Foundation was established on October 17, 2005, in the small town of Ventanas, Ecuador. This place is located in the south-western part of Ecuador, near the coast. Fr. Jan Koczy, SVD (Divine Word Missionaries- www.divinewordgifts.org; www.svd-ca.org; www.werbisci.pl) is the founder of the Foundation. Being aware of the great needs of the children at the “Virgen de Guadalupe” Parish (Our Lady of Guadalupe), where he has been working for the past four years, he opened a dining room for 80 children from poor and large families. With a group of 12 volunteers, he decided, after one year of sucessful work at the dining room, to establish the Foundation.

We assist children four years old or older until they finish their schooling. In certain instances, we also assist younger children.
Additionally, we offer support and formation in the areas of family relations and proper childcare for the mothers of the children.
