December 2008		On December 23, we organized for all the children from our Foundation a Christmas party, presenting them with some treats donated by our benefactors from the USA and Canada.
November 2008		Along with INFA (The Institute of Child and Family) we initiated preparing 8 projects, requesting their financing by the Department of Social Matters of Ecuador (MIES). These projects regard schooling, feeding, assisting the youth experiencing various problems, and preventing the sexual abuse of the underage persons.
November 2008		This month the number of the children receiving the help of the Foundation reached 167. Our present dining room is becoming too small to accommodate all.
October 2008		We began to strive for a donation of land for the Foundation where we plan to erect a school and a shelter. The size of this parcel is going to be 50m per 50m.
September 2008		We were visited by Fr. Dariusz Garbaciak, SVD, who promotes our Foundation in the USA and raises funds for its work.
September 2008		Together with the Movistar (a cellphone company) and “Hogar de Cristo” (Catholic Foundation providing affordable housing) we handed over 11 houses to the families.
August 2008		This month we received another group of children to the Foundation. The number reached 148 children.
August 2008		We were visited by the priest of the St. Engel Parish from German along with a person in charge of the altar servers from that parish.
July 2008		By the end of July Lukas finished his stay in the Foundation and returned to the USA. We would like to thank him very much for this excellent work and involvement in assisting the children.
July 2008		We were visited this month by two priests from Poland who work in the Institute of John Paul II in Warsaw documenting the pilgrimages of John Paul II to Ecuador- Fr. Dr. Zdzislaw Struzik (the Insitute Director) and Fr. Tomasz Szyszka, SVD, former missionary to Bolivia.
June 2008		We continue the construction of the dining room for the kids. The lower walls, the pillars of the upper part, and the bonds between the pillars have been constructed.
		At the beginning of the month we welcomed Lukas from Chicago who came to assist us in the dining room and the afternoon school.
		On June 22, Houston, an “Ecuadorian Dinner” was organized by Thalia Kruger for the Poles living in the USA. The donation of $1.000,00 was given to the Foundation.
